# Mundane

> Mundane is a robotics company building highly capable, reliable, and useful humanoid robots to take on the dull, dangerous, and repetitive work — amplifying human labor rather than replacing it.

Mundane Systems Inc. is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with operations in Shenzhen, China. The company was co-founded by CEO Theo Nash, whose background spans electrical engineering in the UK, study in China, and Stanford. Mundane takes a full-stack approach: hardware, control systems, robot learning policies, and human–robot interfaces are all built in-house, with a focus on robots that create real economic value in real environments rather than flashy demos.

## Mission

Build the age of abundance. When labor becomes a function of power, metal, and compute, it becomes limitless — and labor is no longer the bottleneck on doing the cool, important things. By building humanoid robots that are capable, reliable, and useful, Mundane is enabling a future where work for humans becomes optional and discretionary.

## Hiring

Mundane is actively hiring across Research (robot learning, manipulation policies, ML infrastructure, teleoperation, mechatronics), Development (embodied systems, robotics product, robotic systems engineering, software/backend), and Operations (Chief of Staff, VP China). Most roles are in-person in Palo Alto; the VP China role is based in Shenzhen / hybrid.
