Mundane COO Eoin O'Doherty pitched Mundane at Plug and Play's AI for Physical Industries Deep Dive & Selection Day, held on August 11, 2026 at PayPal Park in San Jose.
The day brought together founders, operators and investors working on AI in the physical world, from factories and infrastructure to robotics, autonomy and maintenance. Startups pitched in sessions on energy, real estate and construction, and deep tech, alongside companies from the San Jose AI Center of Excellence.
Mundane pitched in the Deep Tech session, introduced in the program as a company "building humanoids that are useful beyond just lab demos, but in actual real-world deployments."
